Sale of day permits will start on Saturday 17. March
This year's sale of day permits will start on Saturday 17. March at 12:00 PM on www.laksefisk.no. These permits apply for the period from July 1th to and including the 31st of august. In this period it will be allowed to fish for salmon, sea trout and arctic char. Further, day permits for fishing sea trout will be for sale, and apply for the period from the 1st of September to and including September 14th.
Initially we wanted to start the season at 23 of June, but the regulation authorities have not managed to finish a proposal for new fishing regulations for the Reisa River and other Norwegian salmon rivers. This is due to disagreements at the ministerial level. We can do little with the situation at a local level, and must wait to find out if we can start fishing on June 23. However, we have decided to start the sale of day permits applicable to the period from July 1th to and including the 31st of august. If we get permission for an extra week, we will put this week up for sale when new regulations are ready. This extra week will be announced on our website a few days before the sale starts.
